  • Introductory 1.5 hour workshop

    Title: Optimize Wellbeing and Prevent Burnout

    Healthcare practitioners and people of a helping profession are more prone to high-stresses in their daily work. Being a heart-centered and driven individual makes you an excellent clinician, as you always go above and beyond to help others. But, it also makes you more prone to being stressed and overwhelmed.

    Learning objectives of the session:

    • Understand what is burnout, compassion fatigue, and ways to prevent it.

    • Understand and practice self-awareness and self-monitoring of the stress response.

    • Understand and practice how to elicit the relaxation response.

    • Learn practical tools to thrive at work and life based on the field of positive psychology.

  • 5-Week Workshop Series

    Title: The Science of Happiness: Positive Psychology in Clinical Practice

    Following the introductory 1.5 hour workshop, we can dive deeper in this 5-week workshop series. You may choose to do the 5 sessions weekly, or spread apart through the year.

    Learn about the 5 pillars of wellbeing . We will discuss the PERMA model of wellbeing, and its applications to clinical practice and in life.

    Each session is 1.5 hour long.

    • Session 1: Leveraging Positivity and Befriending Negativity

    • Session 2: Finding Your Flow and Practicing Mindfulness

    • Session 3: High Quality Connections and Relationship Building Skills

    • Session 4: Finding Meaning and Purpose in Your Daily Work

    • Session 5: Goal Setting Skills and Applying Tools From Behavioural Change Science.
